Owner, B.Sc., P.T, R. Acup., Cert. Chinese Herbal Medicine
I graduated from the University of Alberta Physical Therapy Program in 1992. Subsequently, I completed the Medical Acupuncture Certificate with Dr. Steven Aung in 1995, and I obtained my Registered Acupuncturist designation in 2000. I have completed advanced training in Spinal Manipulation and many post graduate courses involving Physiotherapy, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Currently I am enrolled in a Spiritual Healing course and will complete the certification in July, 2013.
My specialty is using a combination of Physiotherapy, Eastern Medicine and Healing to help you achieve your optimum level of health. When treating physical injuries, addressing the mind, body and spirit creates amazing shifts. My areas of interest include Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and facial dysfunction, pre and post-surgical issues, menstrual problems, headaches, and chronic pain. In addition, I often use Acupuncture and Eastern Methods to assist in pre-natal situations, such as Breech presentation and delayed labour. Alternative methods are also very useful for post-natal conditions.
I look forward to working with you in rediscovering your health and happiness.
